This day started in a really cool way, well actually, it was 20 degrees and frosty, so I guess that is cold! Inside our home was a different story. Jen made large, big, huge Cinnamon rolls with lots of icing. We had hot coffee with egg nog creamer! It was so nice to eat as a family and be toasty warm while watching the sun glare off the frost!
At 10 am it was homework time. On friday Caleb gets to share in his K-garten class "share time." The assignment this week was to color this square, put his name on it, cut it out, tape it to a bag and then go on a nature hunt to get at least 3 things. Caleb, being Caleb, couldn't just go out and look, he had to make a list of what he wanted to find. Following the list, we bundled up and headed outdoors. To our surprise, the sun was really warm and it was a beautiful day. Here are some pics of our "Nature Hike".
Following the hike, we decided to shoot some hoops. It was really fun to spend that time together. I am not a prophet, but take notice of this shooter, he may be on a local basketball court near you in a few years!
We then played lots of different games, got kinda muddy (sorry mom) and then came in for a nice warm lunch! Welp, it is almost time for Caleb to go to school, that means "daddy daughter time". I JUST LOVE FRIDAY'S!
B OUT!!
