I was blown away by Country Lakes Christian Camp and Retreat Center. The story goes, that an Elder at Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, Ky, came into an Elders meeting while they were building their new facility and said that he had found a piece of land that could be made into a camp. The Elders said he was crazy, since they were in a building program and money was tight, so he purchased it and began to build.
When I arrived here, I was shown to my room and then they parked my car. I was treated like royalty, it was amazing. One of the employees handed me a prayer walk booklet and I headed out to spend some time with God. I have included pics of the camp as well as my prayer walk.
